Resumo

Landslide contribute significantly to the amount of sediment in rivers. This study aims to analyze the events with high turbidity valuesin whichhave occurred or not mass erosion in the Cubatão Norte river basin(BHRCN), Santa Catarina state, and the hysteresis formed (NTU-Q). It was evidenced that mass erosion events usually present counter-clockwise hysteresis followinga hysteresis with no characteristic pattern.
