Resumo

The paper deals with hydrosedimentological studies in the Pandeiros river basin, located in the northwest of Minas Gerais State, Brazil, on the left bank of the São Francisco River, of which it is a direct tributary. The studies were developed within a project with a multidisciplinary context. Intense hydrosedimentometric measurements were performed during three hydrological cycles between 2016 and 2019, in five stations distributed along the river. The results obtained, together with those of the other disciplines covered in the project, will serve for the future management of the Pandeiros River basin aiming, among other things, to minimize the arrival of sediment in the existing wetland near its mouth.
