Resumo
In this research we built a detailed Digital Surface Model (DSM) of one ofthe biggest gully erosionfoundedin Rio Grande do Sul,located in the South of Brazil. The model was built using a DJI Phantom II UAV witha Go-Pro Hero 3+ on board. In order to estimate the coordenates of the groundpoints control (settled down with big white paperboards) we?ve used a cellphone GPS to get the latitude and longitude and pieces of woodenfenceto get the approximate difference in z axis between the groundpoints. It was taken and processed something about 1.089pictures in the software Photoscan. As results, we reveal that our unusual practices of field data management, which have used a very poor input data to build a very good Digital Surface Model, can be used to estimate environmental and important parameters in gully erosionstudies when there are no available topography data to be used.
