Resumo
Cement production is one of the main sources of carbon dioxide (CO?) emissions due to the high temperatures required for clinker formation, significantly contributing to global warming and enabling extreme climate change. An integrative literature review was conducted using the PICO (Population, Intervention, Comparison, and Outcome) strategy on the Web of Science database. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, five studies were selected and analyzed. These studies examine and characterize the potential for global warming and climate change caused by cement production. They also highlight the need for alternative production techniques.
