Flood sleeve is a temporary flood protection, which use flood water to flood protection. Its uncomplicated design and short installation time give this method a significant advantage over the sandbag. For installation the sleeve a number of devices are required. The devices: as motor pumps, fire hoses, lights and rubber boots are stored on a mobile flood protection kit : Wyspecjalizowany Zestaw Przesiwpowodziowy (WZP) Specialized Flood Kit. For efficient use of WZP fire brigade and crisis management need to have basic information about design, technical capabilities and installation methods. The training program for administration responsible for crisis management consists of two parts theoretical and practical. The theoretical part contains information about the technical data of the sleeve such as capacity, the possibility of stacking sleeves, how they can be prepared, Health and Safety at the installation of flood sleeves, WZP equipment, lifeguards qualifications to work with WZP. Practical part is a training for firefighters in sleeve installation. This type of training are designed not only to improve flood protection actions, but also to raise the level of awareness and security stabilization of the residents of floodplains.
