Resumo

Water erosion is the main process of soil degradation in Brazil. However, studies on erosion at the agricultural slope scale are still incipient, mainly in the quantification of the effects of conservationist systems by current use, in the face of climate change and its reflection on liquid-solid discharge. The objective of this work was to quantify the impact of the current grain production system on the liquid and solid sediment discharges by means of hydro-sedimentometric monitoring. For this purpose, water and sediment flows were monitored on two agricultural slopes with and without the presence of terraces, and which differ in terms of mechanical conservation measures. The results indicate that the magnitudes of sediment yield and runoff coefficient are high, considering the 2.6 ha areas and the current conservation system. It is also observed that the agricultural degradation processes associated with erosion are active. It is noted the fragility of the conservationist system as it is practiced without conservationist measures, given the reduced capacity to control erosion.
