Resumo

Suspended sediment fluxes and their variability in time and space in forests have received much attention over the past decades. This work aimed to analyze flow and transport of suspended sediment in surface waters within catchment of Duas Bocas, Cariacica ?ES. The sediment sampling was undertaken from September2017 to April2018, the sediment samples collected were stored 1000 mL jars, transported on ice to the laboratory, and stored at 20ºC until further analysis. The sampling, handling and determination of suspended sediment were in accordance with APHA (1989). The Flowtracker was used for the discharge measurements. The accumulate 15 days rainfall prior to sampling indicated the best precipitation-flowcorrelationthroughPearson ?s correlation analyses. For the Analysis of the relationship between flow and suspended solids exported, it was verified that with the increase of the flow also occurred the increase of the sediment concentration
